@k00b @ek I can’t zap on mobile. I clicked unlock wallets and then scanned my passphrase QR code but it just takes me back to unlock wallet prompt.
Mhhh, so you scan the passphrase, the text input gets filled with the words, then you click on save and it goes through but then it shows the 'unlock wallets' button again?
No I scanned it and it nothing populated. It reverted back to the unlock wallet prompt. I tried three times and it didn't work. Now I can't even view the passphrase anymore. Haha

It should give you the option to reset the passphrase, but that will delete your sending wallets, so you will have to attach them again, yes
I reset the passphrase earlier today. I will try again.
Ok seems to be working now. Reset the passphrase and then copied it, emailed it to myself so I could copy it and enter on mobile. QR code would be much easier. Hopefully you guys can fix that.

Welp... after at least a decade... I have orange pilled my extremely elderly parents.
I came to visit them and they bought me some Red Bull as they "don't want me to nap during my visit." I always give them cash for that because that shit is expensive, but I offered - for what must be the 1000th time - to send sats instead.

None of this scales most likely (ie no one wants any of the above longterm either ... although (1) is the freest of them all, mirror mirror). So really, we need de minimus exemptions to AML/MTL for custodianship if bitcoin apps are going to be a take-over-the-world thing imo.
SN will effectively try to do all four, all optional, to the extent that we can, in the meantime. lol
This new release will be even more confusing... There's an high chance users will get lost between all the wallet options provided, plus the dilemma in sending vs receiving... Wallet page could start with something like this: two setups,

What was not working defining wallet by type? (LND, CLN, NWC, LNaddress, etc..)
why this big change?
We mixed protocols (LNC, NWC, lightning address) with wallets.
Many people didn’t realize they have at least a lightning address because they didn’t see their wallet listed.
Make more sense this way then, I've been too optimistic assuming everyone knows what protocols are and how they work.

yep, only a generation or so from now lol.
most lightning app devs seem to be betting on, as is, flawed custodial solutions in the meantime. i just don't see those solutions producing products I would use. so, I'm hoping the first (1) and (2) come sooner than later.
the simplest solution for us would be to drop p2p zapping all together and just make all sat earning happen via rewards and territory revenue ... but i don't want that product future either.

Depends on who comes next, but with the current economic situation, I think the impact’ll be pretty neutral. Honestly, it doesn’t really matter who’s in that position, the agenda’s already set.
Let´s see if the new chair of the FED is willing to increase or decrease the Interest Rate and to print or to absorb USD.

I'm seeing it. Family members have been laid off. Keep finding out businesses I thought were profitable are on the verge of failing. It's not everywhere, bit it's popping up more and more.

Hey @Coinsreporter did you post anything about the state street options scandal and how the Indian government is demanding they deposit $500M into an escrow account?
It wasn't State Street, It was Jane Street.
And they are doing fraudulent trades for which they had been caught in 2024 , were left with warnings and little fines. But again now they are caught with fraudulent trades of around 4.3 billion for which they have already deposited $564 M in an escrow account to resume services.
It's no surprise that western media has come out defending Jane Street which is an American Company.
However this from Forbes is still a balanced article which rationalised both sides of the coin.

Thanks for the correction. Crazy how they just took advantage of Indian retail traders. I didn’t know options trading was so big in India but I get it people are trying anything to win in this fiat hellscape we find ourselves in only for a major whale to come and take your money.
