I’ve certainly seen plenty of these but I had never heard the breed name.

I love dogs, and as I mentioned in another post, I love large dogs, especially German or Belgian Shepherds.
When I lived in Cuba, we had a very handsome German Shepherd, her name is Gina.
When we left Cuba, we gave her to a married couple who were friends of ours.
We had to do it. It was sad, but she's now well cared for, which is the most important thing, and we didn't abandon her to her fate.

There are a bunch of German Shepherds around where I live, I didn’t even know there were Alaskan Shepherds too. Do they also get back problems when they get old? German Shepherds can barely walk when they get old, it’s kinda sad.

Love all the shephard's dogs. They are cute, friendly, fluffy, intelligent and agile.
The cost on it doesn't look suited for Alaska though.
I've a mix breed which mostly bears similar to this breed due to cross with German shephard. Haha
