Colorado didnt play huge schools. Nebraska who was there "big" outside the Big 12 school they lost to. Plus his attitude and his dad was a known issue. Stewart doesnt have those issues, played and thrived in the SEC and against Power 5 conference games plus just wants to sign the contract everyone else is signing
He’ll make the perfect cowboy in the 2nd round 2026

He would never fall to the second round lol looking at the edge rushing prospects for next year.... it isnt nearly as deep as it was this year. The Texans love defensive players this year was a rare example of them not drafting one in the first two rounds. He was known to be near the top of their board with Walter Nolan so when they were gone the Texans just traded back a few picks into the second round.

I think it's quite possible depending if he has another year with lack of production. He was off a lot of team's boards due to lack of production and character concerns. This isn't going to help him on that front. Now if he balls out and has a huge year, he might be a top 10 pick. Dude is an athletic freak but he is a project.

Where did you hear Stewart had character issues? I never saw anything along those lines.
reply
There were concerns about his commitment to the game. Not off the field stuff.

Fair or not the contract hold out situation will not be looked on favourably. Bengals burning a 1st round pick will be remembered by the league with this guy. All it takes is one team but I almost gaurentee most would probably remove him on draft boards and not wanna deal with it

Have you seen what they want him to sign? The Texans fully guaranteed their second round picks and no one on God's green earth would have signed the waiver that the Bengals wanted him to sign... it was practice and if you get hurt we "promise" to negotiate in good faith. Other teams were even talking about it off the record about how wild and really terrible it was.

The Bengals are notoriously cheap.
Haha definitely.
