It's not just some. I'd say its the majority. Maybe builders don't care, but it's probably harder to rent out units on 13th floors. It's very strange to me that this phenomenon exists, and yet, I've never lived on a 13th (or fake 14th).
I’m wrapping my head around this. 4 in Chinese means death, but we don’t avoid staying on the fourth floor. Me included haha. Interesting how Americans’ discomfort with 13 could lead to such ramifications
