There's this podcast with him and Szabo from some years ago that's a pretty good listen. More about Szabo than Naval, but still, it might give you an idea of whether you want to read the book.

If it's possible to be gluten intolerant, I suppose you can be gluten tolerant.

But I really like things with gluten in them. Is it possible that there are people who actually need to be eating more gluten?

I’ve never heard of a condition that is specifically remedied by gluten.

It wouldn’t be too hard to concoct a hypothetical diet where glutinous foods would help meet nutrient requirements, though.

Happiness Journal 22/7/25

Today, I paired up with a colleague for our traffic duty. He is a SEN (Special Educational Needs) officer, so his wealth of experience is different from mine. We were discussing this boy with comorbidity in dyslexia and ADHD. This boy likes to speak out of turn, so I asked my colleague about how to deal with such behaviour. If I clamp down on him too much, would I suppress what he has to say?

My colleague then responded by suggesting how he taught the boy not to blurt everything on his mind but instead select the top three things he wanted to share. He subsequently got the boy to narrow down to one thing he desperately wanted to say. Through journeying alongside him, he taught my student how to filter his flurry of thoughts and control his verbal diarrhoea.

Grateful for the chance to learn from my colleague!
