I can't think of a better way to gift Bitcoin to noobs than with an Opendime from Coinkite. This gives them a way to take self custody without having to buy an expensive hardware wallet or do a complete new wallet setup.

Having "skin in the game" is the best way to pique someone's interest to start learning about what it is they hold. Such a gift might be the catalyst they need to start doing some real learning on the subject.

I think most normies have heard of Bitcoin, but they think it can only be held in a custodial account on some website. Being able to physically hold their Bitcoin and see how easy self custody is might just be the best way to orange pill AND give a really cool Christmas gift at the same time.
