We at the IBC (illinoisbitcoincouncil.org) are focused on three pillars - education, advocacy, and collaboration). We're in the process of partnering with an inner-city alternative school serving underprivledged students by sharing a financial literacy & Bitcoin education curriculum (h/t - Mi Primer Bitcoin). We're meeting with state legislators sharing the lessons we've learned about the benefits of Bitcoin. We're also collaborating with Illinois retailers and merchants to bring Lightning Network solutions to them.

To answer your question, we're helping further the proliferation of Bitcoin's protocls with each of our pillars. Spreading the good word, so to speak.
