Yes, India did it and made it possible the Earth becomes habitable for humans. You can blame but you must visit the Deccan Plateau once in your life because it becomes the heaven on Earth in rainy season.

India is doing great. The number of tourists visiting is increasing more than any other nation. People actually are a little scary to visit India but those who are visiting here these days go back with a great experience.
Talking about why India is the best country to visit for longer duration because you won't find so much variety of landscape, culture, architecture etc etc anywhere else on the planet.

That’s great. India should be killing it with tourism. I was hoping to go to India for a couple of friends’ weddings but they ended up getting married here.

Uffff.... So many Indians these days just marrying American girls.
India being so budget friendly destination should really be on top. The hot climate I believe is one reason of low tourism, still I think it'll be among top 10 in 10 years, currently it's 39.
