Shitcoin games are fun to watch. When Saylor and his buddies do this, though, they say it's not the same thing. 😀

I hope my idiot brother got out in time

What is it with idiot family members? I've had a few ask me about ripple over the years to the point that I've assembled an email with a number of well-documented points about how stupid ripple is...and yet some of them still buy it.

I have noticed this too. They must have some magical line of bullshit that the average person finds compelling.
reply
Most of what I heard was just irrational speculation that it could go up 1000x.

I think it’s mostly chasing the NGU dragon. They feel like they missed out on bitcoin and don’t even have a surface level understanding of the value propositions.
reply
sigh, i have one too. they pretend to acknowledge that bitcoin is the mother-tree as they say, "i will rotate into bitcoin when xrp pumps."

Yeah... I hate crypto stories like this. Not the news part but calling being down around 5% in five days is hardly anything. They do this with bitcoin too. Waste of time.
reply
That’s fine. I don’t actually care if he gets out in time.

You have an idiot brother who bought XRP? Learn something new every day. Is he a Raiders fan?
reply
No, he’s an idiot.
reply
Must be a Chiefs, Eagles or Cowboys fan.
reply
He doesn’t really watch football but I think he does like the Cowboys.

I know several idiots who bet on that token — which is exactly what I told them it was.

It just isn't a commodity, nor are any of the other printed things that call themselves coins, no matter what regulators say. We're only in this situation because some SEC retard got bribed/gaslit to make a bad statement about ETH and the elite don't want justice to be served through their cronies.
Let's not call it a coin, not even a shitcoin. It's an affinity scam to call it a coin.

When Saylor and his buddies do this, though, they say it's not the same thing. 😀
it's not because Saylor isn't the CEO of a company that invented bitcoin
reply
Well not literally. But he does control a shitcoin.

which shitcoin do you mean?
reply
I am referring to mstr. It is a fiat company, trading on a fiat exchange. A significant percent of shares are owned by insiders. Investors have no right to any underlying bitcoin. There is no evidence that mstr actually has custody over any bitcoin.
Here is the last year's insider activity: https://www.marketbeat.com/stocks/NASDAQ/MSTR/insider-trades/

This is just as obvious as any other crap they come up with every day.

I believe it was Nero who said, when confronted with the fact that the urine collection for doing laundry was an unpleasant odor, that "Money does not stink". Of course, One should examine their life objectives if they find that Nero is their idol.
