The Labradoodle is a popular "designer" dog breed, derived from a cross between a Labrador and a Poodle. The breed was developed in Australia in the 1980s with the goal of training a guide dog for a person who was allergic to Labradors.
I'm ambivalent. I hated them for years. Even now I only started posting these breeds as I'm coming to the end of the series and I'm running out of content!
On the other hand, I started taking my dog to a large, well attended dog park recently, and I've gotten to know a lot of these designer dogs up close. For the most part, they are intelligent, very energetic and they have friendly, stable temperaments.
This article is super helpful ๐ถ Labradoodles are such lovable smart and playful dogs perfect for families. If you got the time and energy having a Labradoodle is totally worth it๐๐พ
