It depends on what you call art, but I buy art. I can't afford to buy expensive pieces, yet I enjoy pretty things.
As for fine art, we have a large acrylic painting from a friend. Most of our other pieces are probably more appropriately called folk art - local artists making relatively quirky things. There are things like our bedside lamps, one of which has a doll head incorporated in it. Or, our fermentation crocks, which are all from hobby potters. Or, my wallet, which is from a local leather goods maker. Or, the bitcoin posters I've been collecting but haven't put up yet.
All else equal, I prefer used, one-off things like rugs or tables, which depending on the uniqueness and quality, I'd call art.
