Sir, trying to get my head around why it is not possible to boost the post after it was written — given it is the only way for it to appear on the main screen.
Stacker News seems already too complicated to use for a random Bill.

This isn't true. It is however the only for you to unilaterally get it on the front page. The other way is people like it and upvote it.
