Yeah, you can run a private relay and back up everything. It's a bit of a project. Some clients even make it fairly easy to back everything up, but then you have to keep track of the json files, I think, and remember to do it regularly.
I'm just weighing whether there's any value for premium beyond contributing to development

Yeah, I tried it when it was new and then just stopped using it. I run Citirine on my phone which does the same thing.
