I know that's our favorite platitude, but most of us would settle for something that works. Zero-to-one, not "zero-to-skip-one-somehow-while-going-to-infinity."

To date, bitcoin has had two kinds of marketplaces, freelance or otherwise:

1. poorly implemented platforms
2. over-engineered protocols that produce more landing pages and design documents than they do functional code
