I like Billy Strings but I mostly prefer the calmness of classics over him. However I never reject solo artists but among groups/bands, I have preference. for example I like The Dead South more than any other band in modern times.

They aren't very popular but they are off beat and mix the vibes of old and retro music with modern fusion quite perfectly.
