Maybe just price? I've found people much more open to the concept of bitcoin, but when it comes to self-custody or privacy or talking about how to actually use bitcoin, I'm still striking out with most people I talk to.

Yeah its a little of an arm pull getting self custody i like pushing them though :) get into the do u own anything talks.

Or.... merchant adoption? If the local grocery store only accepts freedom money, it's kinda hard for people to call it "useless".
NGU is powerful. But it's just a parlor trick. MoE is 10x more powerful, and has staying power.
