Pace of 10m47s per mile is not closer to walking than running. That translates to roughly 6m42s per kilometer pace, which is a decent running pace. Personally, I consider anything under 7 minutes per km decent.
If you fast walk, you can do 1km in 5-7 minutes. For running 3-5 minutes are enough. That's my opinion. I don't want to pretend to be running.

You are right. When I do this run and I'm not sucking I'm able to do it in less than 35 minutes, which is a better rate.
This run I was not doing well at all.

I don't think people on average can walk 1km in 5 minutes. Maybe if you power walk and you're on an athlete level. Maybe you are an athlete and I would love to see you record a walk that fast. That would be amazing!
As well, 3 minute per km is a very fast pace, even for a 4 mile (6.4km) run. That's near professional athlete level of pacing or a very dedicated, very well trained amateur...

You're right. I've been a cricketer and also a soccer player in my college, I need to see others from a different eye.
When I was a kid, there was no road to my village and we had to walk beside a canal through 6 kms of mango and guava orchards and it never took me more than 40-45 minutes while walking slower to my normal pace.
That said now I don't run daily but whenever I do, I do 4 kms in around 13-15 minutes.
And btw I took it on @scoresby because he seemed to be insulting cookies ...haha
