Yeah there is really no 'ranking' in search over nostr now, just plain word match and newest first. Will be building better ranking using engagement and following size as signals. I'm scared as shit of building a full-blown nostr client, but that seems inevitable.

I like that idea of using the crowd to improve the search. I played around with your app a little yesterday.  It's definitely helpful in harnessing the chaos of nostr,  but it would benefit from more narrow search results.

Next idea - upvote/downvote urls in search with vote events written to nostr. I will be able to use this signal to rank urls better, and other nostr users might build other apps around that data.
