That's kinda what I thought but I figured I'd give it a whirl to find out.
But I'm still confused. All I could put in was my hex pubkey and select some relays.
I thought I needed to put in my NIP-05 identifier which is nunyabidness@nostrplebs.com

This gives you a NIP-05 id like nunyabidness@nostrplebs.com but Bennd77@stacker.news if you tell your client to use us instead.
The relay list tells your client, when you give them Bennd77@stacker.news as your NIP-05, what your relay preferences are.
That's all. Really simple.
