Are you able to accept an offer early or do you have to wait till the ask timer runs out?
You can set a favourite offer before the ask either expires or enters the "pending acceptance" stage. Would you prefer an "early settlement" feature where the asker can just accept an offer and settle the ask resulting in an early reveal of the image and an early payout for the offerer?

I think I can accept early, but it's a little unclear UX wise. It just shows a toggle, and I don't know what happens when I click it.
Kind of want to test what happens if I don't accept one, because I did have to post full collateral (ie, 500 sats are 'locked' (by the site)). Does the site just pick the one that was earliest to post? Do they send me the image?
Seems like it would be an unfair hack, to just send the sats to the first one who posted.
Maybe I'll pick a winner for this one, and then post a second ask with a warning that I intend to let it expire.
There have been two replies so far, but, awkwardly, I can see the images that were posted. No blur. No checkers. Wondering if it's just a thumbnail, or did I "buy" all the results, but only have to pay one person? Or do I only get a high-res version of the one I pick?
So many questions lol...UX UX UX.

Luckily for Jeff his two offerers have both chosen to upload images without obfuscation, so now he has no incentive to choose a favourite that would lead to a payout on ask settlement. He can just download the original files and re-steal them.
my stolen NFT is obfuscated by a blur so neither Jeff nor outside users can see the original image.

When you chose a favourite nothing happens before the time on the ask runs out. When the time runs out the favourited offerer would be rewarded with the sum of the bumps.
Would you prefer some form of early settlement?

I think the middle one, blurred it with a little blur. I didn't notice that he did. And the site is confusing if users do this. The offerer should have the choice to fully delete their submission, or edit it, until the deadline, unless the asker marks it "favorited".
Everything about "fovouriting" is unclear on the UI. Here is what is going through my head:
I'm scared to hit a toggle, cause I don't know the effect. Will my sats be gone, and contest ends? Or will it keep it keep going, and I can undo it?

however, i'll have to think the editing ang deleting stuff through....

Same here, I can see both offers images

This is fine. These images were not obfuscated.

There is probably four states:
  • Not-logged in listing viewer
  • Logged in listing viewer, no engagement
  • Asker's view
  • Offerer's view
But, I could easily see bugs exposing stuff. lol.
