Do your dogs like them?

We currently have rainy season and they are so many there invading our main gate whenever it rains. I guess my dogs don't like the night intrusion and kill these beautiful creatures.
But most likely they do it for protein!

That was the thing. Most of the ones I see are little. This was at least 6 inches long. My wife says we have some that are invasive species around here, but I'm not going to do the execution.
