Thanks for this. Maybe I'll give it a try, or should I wait until you post the CLN send and receive guide? I think you said it's coming soon?
Yeah, the code for send via CLNRest is done, we just need to deploy it
But you won't be able to use self-signed certificates like for receive. Do you know what I mean?
No. Does that mean I need real https? That won't be an issue if so
btw it's deployed now, you can try it out if you want
Oh yes! Thanks for letting me know. I'll let you know how it goes and ask for help if (when) I need it.
Yes you need real HTTPS[1], that's a good way to put it!
Oh and I forgot, you also can't use tor for sending 😬
TLS certificates from a trusted certificate authority like Let's Encrypt ↩
Isn't version < 1.0.0 still supported via: https://github.com/stackernews/stacker.news/pull/2162 ?
You caught me 👀
I didn't want to check if we literally support all versions before 1.0.0, maybe there have been more breaking changes
I'm definitely not a super user so I will have this one pass me
I assume this was just a joke, but I realized you actually don't need to be super user to create a wallet
Saw it from the second number of your post so I felt I couldn't, let me try it out now. It says I can run an instance for 1 hours costing 21 sats. Is an instance like a wallet you pay for?
yeah, they are hosting it for you
not sure if that means it's custodial though
posting this to add it as a link to the wallets
