The collapse of the Nepal government situation has gone from bad to worse overnight and into Wednesday. Parliament has gone up in flames, Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has resigned, there have been dozens of deaths and injuries - including among some government officials or their families.
Mentions the under-discussed sequence of events:
  1. Children of politicians shamelessly showcase their wealth on social media
  2. People take to the streets to protest this, because why do politicians make so much money?
  3. Politicians ban social media (showing their hand? lol)
  4. SHTF (what did you expect?)
  5. Politicians flee
  6. Army takes over
The question is: if you weren't corrupt, would you still do 3 and 5?
