Probably hard to replicate without proper prior knowledge and access to materials. He's not exhaustive in his explanations. I remember from grad school how easy it was to fail organic chemistry experiments, even with detailed instructions on how to proceed...

But who knows, this may inspire some teenagers to dive into organic chemistry. Seems like a positive to me.
