“Economic Science and the Austrian Method” by Hans-Hermann Hoppe https://mises.org/library/book/economic-science-and-austrian-method
“Cryptoeconomics: Fundamental Principles of Bitcoin” by Eric Voskuil https://voskuil.org/cryptoeconomics/index.html Also on Flountain: https://fountain.fm/show/vepXZsxaRESk5FwWOHO8
Now, he didn't explicitly recommend the next one (I don't think it was even published when him and Efrat recorded the podcast from which the list is from), but given that he wrote it, I think it's safe to assume that he would also probably recommend it...
“The Praxeology of Privacy: Economic Logic in Cypherpunk Implementation” by Max Hillebrand https://towardsliberty.com/pop (DISCLAIMER: I've yet to read it myself, even though it's a high priority book in my list - so I can't vouch for it personally, yet, but knowing a little bit about Max and his thought process... I can only imagine that it's on par, if not in some ways beyond the books listed above)
Oh, and the source of the list is this inspiring You're The Voice podcast: Ep. 96: Max Hillebrand - Building Weapons of Defense for Freedom 👇🤠 Fountain YouTube X
Now I should make another disclaimer... even though I'm very much into Austrian economics. the cypherpunk movement and all for the idea of personal freedom, sovereignty and responsibility - I haven't actually read nor listened to any of the books above in full length... talk about coming face to face with one's own ignorance 🤠
What about you? What do you think of the list? How many have you read? Did Any one of them surprised you in an especially good or bad way?
“A Lodging of Wayfaring Men” by Paul A. Rosenberg
