How that that latter part work in practice? Like, I get them saying, "no, you can't take a sick day for your dentist appt," but if you say, "I'm in the ER where they're trying to re-attach my severed arm," do you actually get in trouble?
To be honest I have no idea.... I figure medical emergencies they kinda are forced legally to let you but otherwise it seems like and I could be wrong that you might have to cancel a dr appointment. I feel like most of this is really aimed at people traveling and stopping that and I am sure most offices are flexible with stuff like Dr. appointments but yeah otherwise ya kinda gotta cancel everything....
