[1] The most intriguing director's masterpiece, reflecting human psychology in simple facts, projecting and crafting absurd fears into a subjectively constructed shared reality. In this case, birds, more recently the psyOP_Returns.

Excellent review! Loved Birds almost as much as I loved Hitchcock's trailer!
One of the most creative directors in my opinion, always willing to experiment trying different things.
Hitchcock was a master of cinema......!!
I understand that for many, these films can be boring because they sometimes have very long dialogue scenes, and nowadays people are used to a lot of action and little dialogue.
If one follow today standards, I bet there are folks watching these masterpieces as 2x speed. II agree on the action and no-dialogue approach, the facts show that everything is made to keep watchers attention at high levels with short shoots, moving cameras, a lot of effects, etc...
I thought this was a comedy.
