Hitchcock was a master of cinema......!!
I understand that for many, these films can be boring because they sometimes have very long dialogue scenes, and nowadays people are used to a lot of action and little dialogue.

If one follow today standards, I bet there are folks watching these masterpieces as 2x speed. II agree on the action and no-dialogue approach, the facts show that everything is made to keep watchers attention at high levels with short shoots, moving cameras, a lot of effects, etc...
