This is awesome for 2 reasons:

  1. The only thing fiat derives it legitimacy from is being the currency for taxes to a state that is backed by aircraft carriers, warplanes and lots of guns.
  2. A step towards circular economy. Getting payed in btc, buying stuff via lightning, pay taxes in btc. Way to go Colorado!
