Awesome write up.
The pitch is difficult. I do like how you described it as pay to post first and then earn sats when people like what you produce. I do think SN attracts better users that way (but probably less).
SN has changed a lot since folks tried it in the early days. I think there are a couple marketing paths for SN "give SN a second look" for those that tried it in the past and left and "you should be on SN" for folks that haven't tried it.

I think there are quite a few people who have never used an internet forum before (or at least not used a forum consciously). Describing SN as an online forum for bitcoiners that uses sats seemed to surprise some people. And I had to go back and explain what I meant by forum.
