btw, why would somebody upload a profile picture of 2 or even 5MB ? 512kb is not enough?

I found a bug why you received no error message: the code for that was missing!

But I don't know why a 2.1MB file would fail. I tested with a 4.5MB GIF and it worked.

Maybe there's something special about your JPEG? Can you not upload it at all, even not in a reply?
