BTCAndres on X (not sure if it's the same as @BtcAndres here) did a thing where he went tried to figure out how many addresses Tether froze in the last week.
The way he presents his findings is a little confusing, but it looks like maybe the answer is 74?
Whatever the case, I like how he phrased it in the first tweet: Tether on your hardware wallet can still be frozen.
Yet to hear about one USDt blocked on Liquid Network

That diarrhea is too liquid and nobody wants to use it (aka get dirty with it)

market begs to differ
reply
shitcoiners or should I say diarrhea-coiners?
reply
Privacy conscious bitcoiners. USD/EUR -> USDT -> L-USDT -> L-BTC -> BTC cannot be tracked.

This is a strong claim. May I bother you for a link to a lengthier elaboration/analysis of concrete implementations of this scenario?
reply
Yes, here
Withdrawing USDT to a self-custodial wallet via Liquid breaks chain analysis. So when you deposit the same amount back to the exchange they can't charge you CGT.
reply
they just want to sell you liquid diarrhea

I really don't give a shit anymore about that. Important is to make them all obsolete. Every fucking time you use their fake money you make them stronger.

It's true, I never know where to put interesting tidbits about shitcoins. I often use ~lol, but that carries an overtone that isn't always right. Maybe I should have put this one in ~lol.

nah is OK, was just an observation

Would be cool to just pull in these block explorers data (and trust their node operators) into a GPT and spit out a "Blocked" -chain report
How many addresses frozen How much volume blocked And the trend of blocks per month
And then call to action - Get freedom money! and link to a P2P exchange!
