I wonder what Jesus would say about your addiction to gambling... Or you do not listen to Jesus and just pretending ?
Hey Darth, I've noticed you keep posting this on all my SN posts, so I figured I will address it now.
First off, for your information, Jesus does not explicitly mention gambling in the Bible, but his teachings on materialism and greed provide insight into how he might view it. He often warned against the dangers of materialism, suggesting that gambling could lead to a focus on wealth rather than spiritual fulfillment.
1 Timothy 6:10 states, "For the love of money is the root of all kinds of evil." I know it's just my own word here, and you're free to believe me or not, but I am the least selfish/greedy person I know. I've never chased money. I don't spend lots of money. I've never driven a car newer than the year 2015. I own a $20 Casio watch. My shoes are $50. I'm a teacher and have always made a very low salary compared to my family and friends. And I'm very okay with that. Money is a tool. Bitcoin is a tool. I don't worship money/Bitcoin. I worship our Lord, Jesus Christ.
I enjoy using Predyx for fun. I think it's a great use case for Lightning, and I'm proud to help it grow. I don't use a tremendous portion of my sats to gamble, and I would never advise anyone to do that.
If you or anyone has a gambling problem, please talk to someone for help.
And finally, I hope you're concerned about your own relationship with Jesus as you are with mine. Jesus is my best friend and my Savior. If the Holy Spirit guides me away from using Predyx, then I will comply with that.
Thanks again, Darth. Take care.
edit I'm not perfect, and do not claim to be. It's okay if you don't like everything I do. God is the final judge, not you or anyone else.

money changers are the gamblers; they trick unsuspecting naive plebs into various thieving schemes; whatever u call it - it ain't right, meaning it's wrong;

I agree with you that the money changers were involved in exploitative practices and financial gain at the expense of others. I would argue that prediction markets (like Predyx) aren't exploitive in nature like traditional gambling with odds makers, where the house always wins. You aren't betting against the house with a prediction market. You're betting against a live market of participants. There is no "house."
But I do see that encouraging gambling in any capacity can be viewed as negative. For instance, I am totally against kids gambling. Gambling is now on Robinhood for all ages (I think). That's terrible IMO.
Gambling can be addictive which is also a big problem. But adults make the decisions for themselves on whether they want to gamble or not. When the people of the Bible wanted to engage in fair trade, usury and "unjust balances" from the money changers made the system unfair for them, and the people had to participate while having no say in the matter.
Those are my thoughts. I appreciate the discussion.

u will do much better if u apply ur intellect and word magic towards good deeds, like orange-pilling normies or keeping newbies from shitcoining; it pays off much more in the long run than predyx winnings - because u are actually saving souls;

I will definitely continue to do those things too. Thanks again
