Last week, I transferred a large amount on chain into Phoenix wallet. Normally, it is supposed to deduct a fee, and then open up a lightning channel.
The app has not done that. The funds are sitting in their “swap in” wallet, with the keys being controlled by phoenix. I have no way to get to those funds unless I wait 4 months.
I have contacted Phoenix support several times, to no avail. They have asked for information, gotten it, and have been ignoring me for the past week.
Very infuriating.

I don't think Phoenix will ever stole any sats from you... especially some few thousands of sats. That's peanuts.
What does it says in Wallet info in Phoenix? Final wallet will display the balance of your onchain address from where will be funded that channel. If is still there, you can recover the seed into Electrum and all your sats are there.

Why did you use this online name ? I hope is not a real one and not related to Madrid Barajas...

Maybe stolen isn't the right word. I'm not accusing them of doing anything malicious. The funds are displayed under 'Swap In wallet' and not 'final wallet'
I have tried with some friends who are much more experienced at this to recover it with Electrum, but that didn't work. Phoenix themselves also said that this 'swap in' wallet was controlled by them.
The name is based off the airport in Madrid
