In case you’ve been off the grid, here’s the rundown. We launched </time2build> — a global developer challenge to bring bitcoin to existing open-source apps using the Breez SDK.

Thanks to the support of our sponsors and bitcoin communities, the challenge has spread like wildfire across the globe. From Sofia to Hong Kong, Taipei to Kampala, Lusaka to Lugano, Tokyo to Amsterdam, builders everywhere are getting involved. For Europeans looking to live on bitcoin, life just got a little easier. Bringin has officially launched, helping anyone buy, sell, and spend their bitcoin.

We sat down with their founder, Prashanth Chandrashekar, who explained how the idea for the company came from experience when he moved from India to Estonia. He was paid in BTC but waited days to access euros. Holding bitcoin was easy. Using it wasn’t. So he built a way to change it.

After 18 months in beta, Bringin is now live, helping users pay rent, bills, and move value across borders. The European-based app is the latest to go nodeless with the Breez SDK. AI just got a way to speak Lightning. The new Breez MCP Server lets developers plug the Breez SDK – Nodeless into AI tools, built with our latest Spark implementation.

It’s been a busy month.

Alongside the global meetups for </time2build>, our team has been on the road (and in the skies) spreading the good word of Bitcoin. First stop: Los Angeles. We kicked things off at Lightspark’s Sync, connecting with builders and innovators from across the tech world.

Panel: Lightning is the common language of the Bitcoin economy.

From there, Roy headed to Lugano for the Plan ₿ Forum, hosting an in-person builder meetup for </time2build> and joining panels at Bitcoin Suisse, Arkade Day, and the main event itself. There, he shared how Lightning is becoming the common language of the Bitcoin economy and later joined Stephan Livera to discuss what’s next for Breez.
