Just try and maintain a healthy weight for our dog. When we got her she was malnourished but my wife fixed that and fattened her up. She is probably about 5 lbs heavier than she should be right now. She has some intestinal issues so the vet doesn't want her going long periods without eating so we need to be very regimented when and how much we feed her.

My dog is hilarious. She pretty much knows down to the minute the times she gets fed and if I am even slightly late she will sit in front of me, stare at me and start talking until I feed her (a woo wooo woo a woo woo woo). My wife jokes that she is telling me off. Haha
