I thought you folks might get a kick out of this:
It corresponds to what I wrote up in this post It seems like all carnivores converge on this one favorite food.
Beef. Beef is the thing and beef is king. Or, of course, other ruminants, but beef is by far the easiest to get and the cheapest.
Otherwise it seems pretty accurate, except I would put chicken, pork, etc, closer to the bottom.
I like blueberries and sweet potatoes too much to do carnivore anymore.
Ideally, you would consume at least 100 g of carbohydrates to replenish your glycogen stores but if you're not focused on optimizing performance then I guess you could do without carbs.
Is this something that you follow or is your diet more animal based?

I do eat some occasional blueberries. My diet is animal based, in that don't just eat meat, I eat everything on that pyramid. Eggs, dairy, etc.
So you tried carnivore for a while, and it didn't work for you?
reply
Yes, it was too restrictive and I developed a poor relationship with food thinking that I was immediately going to get diabetes or get fat if I ate carbs and it interfered with my social engagements too much because I was always preoccupied with food and at the time I had an All or nothing type of attitude so if I wasn't being very strict on my diet then I was just eating a bunch of processed food and garbage so now I am less restrictive but I am able to maintain an athletic, lean physique all year round and if I want to have a rice cake or a vegan cookie then I eat it

I've learned a lot more about nutrition over the past 10 years and I've recently been studying for my nutrition coaching certification so now I make more informed decisions and give more nuance advice
