But will grayruby win his matchup with the mighty @car team this week? Can grayruby finally get back to the top of the standings?

What's the Grey Cup?
Just kidding, I listen to the pod

Unfortunately this year I am only interested because of the Predyx market. Last year the Argos were in the grey cup so I was mildly interested. I used to go to Argos games in the hey day of Doug Flutie, Pinball Clemons and Rocket Ismail. Actually got to go on the field once after a game that was pretty cool. So, while I don't really follow CFL that closely I do root for the Argos. They had a rough season though after winning the championship last year.

I didn’t realize former Raider Rocket Ismail was also a CFL legend
reply
He only played for the Argos for a couple years. He was the 1991 Grey Cup MVP.
"Raghib "Rocket" Ismail signed a four-year, $26.2 million contract with the CFL's Toronto Argonauts in 1991, which included $18.2 million in guaranteed money. At the time, it was a record-breaking deal making him the highest-paid football player in North America and surpassing the NFL's top salaries. The contract was a major event, as Ismail was the presumptive No. 1 NFL draft pick."

This was back when LA Kings owner Bruce McNall along with Wayne Gretzky and John Candy bought the Argos. They spent a lot of money trying to make them a big thing but it only lasted a few years.

I like the name of Saskatchewan, though difficult to pronounce it. Hope they win!

They are favoured.

I listened to the podcast and you mentioned that they were going to play at a very low temperature. Is it a closed stadium or is it open?
reply
No. It’s an open air stadium. That was the semi final. Today’s game should be a bit warmer but still near freezing.
