This weekend I received an email from work I was not expecting.... Last week once the funding bill had passed we were told to expect to get our missed paycheck on Tuesday (House Staffers are only paid once a month so we had only missed one paycheck to make us whole).

Well on Sunday at 8:11 PM I guess something changed because we were sent out an email informing us we were going to get paid Monday. I logged into my Chase Account today and what do you know but the paycheck had already hit and cleared!

Nice little win for once. It is still going to be really really odd to have another paycheck hit next week. In my adult life of real jobs I have worked for the House and have gotten used to the once a month paycheck lifestyle.
