I am thinking of creative ways to cheaply power miners. This isn't the answer, but it's interesting. I have been thinking about mobile bitaxe mining in a hybrid.

Bitaxe drains a lot of power, it's stupid to connected them with the car battery. Ahahha

I didn’t open the link. But I’ve thought about mounting solar panels to car roofs to use for extra “free” energy for miners

I have an offgrid solar system for lights and power and in summer can run about 3-4 Tb/s mining off it 24/7, but it would no way be economic to mine using solar unless you got the miners for free and the PVs very cheap or free. Its going to take several years to even pay for the Avalon Nano miner that I got for USD$100 - small scale solar mining is only marginally viable if you have another use for some of the electricity generated. For me its keeping the fridge freezer and lights going.
Home mining is very much a hobby, not a viable business.
