I'm not running a routing node anymore, so I'm not really following these things anymore. How are the Square nodes operating? Anyone can open a channel with them? Or they are walled gardens with privileged whitelisted routing partners?

I didn't looked into connecting with them, But for sure they have a decoy node. For all these big processors nodes, is vital to keep distance from shity nodes that will try to connect with crap channels.

Yeah, didn't get my wife her Hawaii honeymoon, so taking care of that ~10 years into the marriage with the 6-year coming along to make sure we don't get a chance to accidentally make him a sibling~~
It's interesting place. Feels a bit similar to Guam in terms of the number of Koreans around, but this first day has already given a more genuine experience than the one we had in Guam. Guam was mostly pregnant Korean women stocking up on stuff from the US to prepare for the coming baby. Here, i see lots of Americans, too. And it felt a bit more festive at night.
