Maybe it's my bubble. Maybe it's my observation bias. But it seems like the Lightning Network over the last few months has seen a huge increase in interest.

LN channels and capacity have been relatively stable over past month. The real breakout started in Spring 2021.

It IS getting easier to use & more people are using it. I think it will be tested in the next bull run

I think there are 5 or 6k BTC locked up on lightning at the moment. Its been growing pretty consistently which is great. I guess it would be when much more BTC is put into lightning & a lot more businesses are accepting it as a payment
