A True and Accurate History of Toxic Bitcoin Maximalism
(to go along with the true and accurate histories of HFSP and the Boating Accident Meme)

Is this gonna be a Stacker News post, or a book? Because it could be a book ~lol

You are so right! Everybody has written about maximalism. The difference is they were all wrong and I'm not.

Preparing a new guide for LN liquidity. Seems that many new users still don't understand how private LN liquidity can be managed properly and what type of channels should use.

Fire in the hole on a new ShockWallet release
Once this fully deploys, if there's no major fires, we'll be able to start working on many of @deSign_r's proposals. If you haven't put your 2 sats in, please do: #1297203
Also got https://nymrank.dev in a good place, planning to talk about it on the Nosfabrica call tomorrow, may start integrating into production for suggesting Lightning Addresses in ShockWallet

@DarthCoin Is this the same wallet you mentioned yesterday in my post about custodial wallets? Along with Rizful, LNVoltz, and SAT.mobi?
Shock Wallet?
reply
Yes, I recommend you to look into it.

Excellent! Thank you very much, this post is a godsend. Yesterday, I immersed myself in reading your page, and in one of the guides I saw the mention and the link, but I didn't save it and then I got busy with other things in the “normie world,” and today I spent most of the morning reading again to find the link. But I was unsuccessful. Yesterday, I read so many guides that I couldn't remember which one I saw the mention in.

taking a break from reading esoteric material to study the hard sciences; the truth is somewhere in the middle; my super-dense post about brain health is coming along; can't forget about taking long walks under the winter sun;

On vacation so not working but I did kinda wish I had brought my laptop to break away from the group to sit at a cafe or pub now and then and get some personal work done. I love doing it that abroad while people watching and absorbing lore from the locals.
We do not have the same vacationing style so it drains me. But it is family so I'm not going complain.

Working through the lessons of Saving Satoshi at savingsatoshi.com. After completing this, maybe sign up for the BOSS (Bitcoin Open Source Software) challenge.

Contacting a bunch of companies to either list on my website or to have my work (book & calendar) listed on theirs... Also want to take the leap and offer the book to a couple of large retailers here in Estonia. Fingers crossed! Apparently I'm also switching hosting providers (again! FYI aspiring webmasters: Cloudways is shit), working on a piece making the connection between Stoic philosophy and Bitcoin, hopefully will also get to publishing an old essay and maybe the first chapter of my book as podcast episode... Have a conversation with a Bitcoin art OG booked in for Sunday (which may or may not end up as a podcast episode) so I'm excited & preparing for that, mostly, really. Oh and I still need to get proper affiliate options/terms online for both Satoshee and Kontext Store of Value... maybe I can get to that as well. There's more on the list, but I'll be lucky & more than happy if I can cross all of the above off the list before next Monday!

I vibe-coded this Bitcoin Matrix Rain animation last night. The characters are made of bitcoin addresses and hashes, with a random smattering of bitcoin-related keywords that randomly appear, with subtle highlighting. How many words can you spot? 🤓
I'm going to aim for less screen time after work for the remainder of the week.

admin, trying to improve how we query for comment trees, catch up on FOSS PR backlog, and i also need to unpack my office (yuck)
generally trying to shore up all the loose ends that developed during the refactors, and catch my breath, before adding no-trust-november and shifting the majority of my focus to growth
