Harvard University holds more in Bitcoin ETFs than in Google shares.

Harvard’s endowment fund reported a $117 million investment in BlackRock’s spot Bitcoin ETF (iShares Bitcoin Trust, IBIT) at the end of the second quarter of 2025. This made it the fifth-largest holding in the university’s portfolio. Notably, this position surpassed its $114 million stake in Alphabet, Google’s parent company.
