+1 I think also notable take-away is that with bitcoin standard there are still going to be wars, it's just that those are going to be more visibly financed and thus hopefully shorter. 


My favorite takeaway from this article is that nations have transitioned from a "labor-intensive military" to "capital-intensive military" in an effort to further hide the cost of war from citizens. Governments are increasingly able to make committing tragedies look free.
