What's too slow in your opinion?
Navigation in general is a bit laggy and I can see it in some of the backend dashboards. There's no great reason for anything on the site being that slow other than we haven't spent enough time trying to make them fast.
It's kind of like gaining weight. Simply following your instincts without reigning it in periodically is a recipe for chubby. There's also anomalous load events like gaining weight over the holidays.
I'd wager that I'm a top 10 page navigator and the speed has never bothered me, unless I happen to have a really poor connection.
Faster loading pales in comparison to the joy I'll experience from crossposting.
