We are at the point when people start generating total non-sense.
Bitcoiners scorned NFTs and there were tons of arguments against centralized platforms for NFT which actually made Ethereum unusable and they rightfully remembered 2017 when everybody has been dunking on Bitcoin exceptionally high fees.
Now, many consider Ordinals Inscriptions as an attack on Bitcoin or even propose ways to censor it. Letting market decide is not even an option anymore and it happens after a big discussion about "security budgets" which comes a bit too early, may be a decade or two.
Bitcoin always had an options for protocols like Counterparty, Omni or spacechains. It was always possible to run a shitcoin on top of Bitcoin blockchain. However, it is not enough for scammers so this is why they use other ways to trick people.
Maybe NFTs aren't that bad. Let market decide. We already have a good case for tokenization of rental property in USA. It won't work for anybody's flat in Mariupol but it provides useful options for those who live in USA and ready to invest into shares of property objects in various locations.
Maybe putting data on blockchain is not that bad too. Let market decide. We already have malware working on Bitcoin. Pierre Rochard says that it might be interesting to see there CAD files of 3D-printed guns. When Bitcoin blocks may be received from satellite it makes sense.
There may be other ways for data to be used onchain. Imagine all CEXes are outlawed since tomorrow. What we should do for price coordination and Bitcoin-markets to be working everywhere Bitcoin works. I am guessing there are million ways for using Bitcoin I do not know about right now.
