I like the direction of sorting through other people’s noise but I don’t think anything about how Predyx helps with that comes through.

Aesthetically, I prefer simple and clear.

I wonder if there’s a way for you to co-opt “marketplace of ideas”. That’s not a bad description of prediction markets.

“marketplace of ideas”.
Yes this is great one!

Honestly we're still figuring it out with no in-house marketing expert.

It's tough, because you both want to appeal to people who enjoy gambling and also highlight what's special about prediction markets.

I think you're on the right track.

reply

One thing that's quite visible is that Prediction Markets do not get odds from bookies while gambling does. In gambling you interact with the platform directly while on Prediction markets, you interact with other people.

People calling Prediction Markets same as gambling are absolute retards.

reply

Yeah, and I find all of that interesting, but it's not a particularly strong sales pitch.

reply

I agree. Not saying that Predyx should make it as sales pitch.

Just sharing because here on SN and even on X, there are stupid people who even can't imagine how big Predyx as a Bitcoin Native product has become.
They will come here and run their mouth to only discourage others from using Predyx.

I don't talk to them anymore on SN but you can say I've built up some pent up rage against those retards, haha.

reply

I can tell.

It is frustrating, but a lot of people have a pretty deranged reaction to anything that reminds them of gambling. Feelings don't care about your facts.

reply

Yes absolutely.
And when feelings start dominating your reason over facts, you're generally retard. That's what I came to know and stopped arguing anyone under the cloud of psyche.

Ouch, I’m sorry.

But to be honest, both you and your customers say it isn’t gambling, while at the same time joking about it as if it were gambling by calling each other degenerates.

I can see why people get confused and think it’s gambling. It’s hard to be taken seriously when you consistently make jokes about yourself.

Bitcoiners don’t joke (as much) about bitcoin being a scam.

It's interesting how people single out particular things.

If we zoom out, prediction markets are a crowd-sourced information service. The gambling part is an input to the process of making information. Some people have gambling problems.

On the other hand, paid labor is an input to most goods. Many people are workaholics and let their careers destroy their families.

You don't see employers criticized for enabling workaholism.
