The cat:
  • shits and doesn't have to clean it up
  • is exempt from taxes, rent, hospital bills
  • recieves affection any time they want it
  • never when they don't
  • gets fed
  • obeys none of the restrictions imposed on them
  • hunts at will
  • reproduces at will .... need I go on?

I know I have internalized this because every time my cat knocks something off the table or gets into something he "shouldn't," my first thought is always, "well, I guess it shouldn't have left it there."
