People using Bitcoin by the millions day to day to buy things… implies mass tax evasion even if Bitcoin is up or down 1% over a short time period.
How do we square this circle and get mass-adopted MoE while also doing it out in the open? Millions of people committing tax evasion while doing their grocery shopping for eggs and cheese… and the government will what, not care?
I don’t understand how we fix this issue and ‘just ignore it’ is not a solution.

Tax laws aren't the same everywhere.
Furthermore, it's not as hard to keep track of cap gains as people, many of whom are fiat-fanboi non-spenders, convince themselves it must be.
I've been keeping track for a few years now. And I spend on the regular. It takes me a few minutes per week. I'm more than happy to embrace that friction to help btc evolve as money.

This past week, we had a few outings to cafes and restaurants.
Tashas was at a mall where we were able to pay the parking ticket via Lightning too. It doesn't get old yet... Ignore any pay stations, simply scan the code on the ticket and pay as you walk to the car.

'Is simple. SN is a game. CCs are the currency inside the game. 1 CC = 1 sat. So I do not need to attach any external wallet in order to play this game. But people think that by attaching an external wallet, will earn sats. Wrong, they will lose more sats than earning. From when SN introduced this "external wallet" thing I never deposited any sat, and yet I can post and comment every fucking day. SN is not doing any advancing in MoE thing... few zaps to each others means nothing in the Bitcoin adoption and is quite dumb that in a game like this users must use an external wallet to zap each others. Is a closed system and is not needed. So why would I spend my valuable sats on a game? MoE is happening OUTSIDE of SN, not inside.'
If everyone adopts this selfish cynical attitude will BTC circular economy ever be achieved? No!
